If you would like to download the free mp3 audio files, not just listen from the internet, right mouse click on the file segment and choose to save the file to your computer (your system may say to save file, save target, save target as). Do this for every segment and you will have the entire book on your computer. Use the mp3 files just like any other mp3 file on your computer. Each segment is only about 2-10 MB each.

ThoughtAudio provides free access to professionally produced classic literature and philosophy titles from our public website. Since we have a large global listener base it is necessary to make our free files accessible to everyone - not just those with high speed internet service. However, we also offer an option for high bandwidth customers to purchase a Zip Pass - priced at a single flat fee of $10 (usd) per year.

The content for the Zip Pass is exactly the same as the free content, but the Zip Pass page provides a single one-click download for each title.
(For example, we put all the segments for Call of the Wild in one file and zip it up for a single large download.) Once downloaded, the mp3 files can be transferred to your mp3 player, played on your computer system or burned to a CD or DVD – just like any other mp3 file you have on your computer. Since all the content is identical to the free content the Zip Pass is only for your convenience and time savings.

We continue to populate the Zip Pass page with new titles we produce - although some of the INDIES titles are not available on the Zip Pass page due to resale constraints by the owners/producers of that content.
